We had a parade // Thursday

We had a parade today to honor the Philadelphia Eagles for their Superbowl win. I am not a huge football fan, but I love how this win brought the city together. We marched together win nothing dividing us.

Many players from the Philadelphia Eagles chose not to attend the White House. I applaud their efforts. When some people say "move on", "stop spreading hate", "move forward", "be united as a country," they are showing privilege.

Trump's racism will never affect you. HIs discrimination will never affect you. His hatred for marginalized groups of people will never affect you. So, of course, you can move on. Of course, you can let it go and shrug it off. You were never the person that Trump was going after.

Thank you Malcom Jenkins, Torrey Smith, and Chris Long for all you do for our city!
